Little Dog Day Care where small breeds rule

About Us

Little Dog Day Care

is founded on the belief that no dog should be left alone or crated for more than 4 hours at a time. Dogs need human companionship, play time, potty breaks, medications at times.  Just because they're little doesn't mean they can be left alone.  Day care gives you a happy, healthy, well rounded pet.

Starting at $25 for a single day, $20 per day for 2 or more days and $2 hourly up to 4 hours. Fees are negotiable depending on your situation.  I do encourage weekly reservations.  2nd and 3rd shift spots are welcome  here at Little Dog Day Care.  Having a routine for your pet-child is important for emotional stability and security. Weekly reservations secure your spot in the day care as space is first come first serve after reservations. If you're a working pet-parent you know it's important for your peace of mind too.

If you have an appointment, a day trip, an evening out, any situation when you don't want to take your pet-child and don't want to leave him/her alone that long, take advantage of the $2 an hour rate.

At Home Veterinary Care is the vet of choice for Little Dog Day Care. They will come to your house and/or the day care for minor conditions and shots. You don't have to leave your current vet. But a Meet and Greet at his office is suggested. No more taking time from work for vet appointments.

I am located in Augusta just a block from Capitol Park.  If you work near by I welcome lunch and break time visits from Mom and/or Dad.

The day care is not a smoke-free zone.

RECUPERATION MADE EASY

Post surgical care is available at Little Dog Day Care.  Pet-parents need to work even after your pet-child has had surgery.  Mobility limitations,  medications, re-bandaging, special attention and supervision.

Vaccination certification is required: Rabies, Bordetella (Canine Cough), DHLPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospira, Parainfluenza, Parvo).  Your pet-child must be neutered unless pregnant, of course.

Meet and greet

is essential to assure socialization.  We'll visit in a relaxed atmosphere, observe your pet-child behavior with my pet-child, go through paperwork (please bring your vaccination certification with you), talk about your expectations, address special needs, etc.

This is the living room where we spend most of our indoor time.

The porch is our favorite place on nice days...

The play yard is enclosed with fence...
