Me and Vanessa for 18 years. May 16, 2013 was Nessa's last day with me and me with her. Bladder cancer. It doesn't matter what took her from me only that she's gone. She took with her my heart.  I never knew this kind of love until I met Vanessa. She was by my side every day and night, almost every breath I took and  every heart beat . She left this world in my arms with whispers of love in her ear. As she relaxed into death I heard my heart break.  The pain isn't getting better and my soul is still empty. I think it will be until it's my turn to die.......

Dearest Breezer....18 or 19 years old....Loved passionately by Mom and Dad...I looked forward to his visits once a year. When Breezer and I met it took him only a few moments to make friends with me and I felt so honored. Recently Breezer's health failed. After much deliberation and talking with his Vet, Mom and Dad decided it would be best for Breezer to "go to the rainbow bridge" and wait for them to meet him there. Mom held this sweet, sweet boy as he went to sleep.

GOOD BY, SWEET BOY...

HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE BRIDGE WITH VANESSA

Our friend Conker has left the day care for a wonderful reunion with  his first Mom who is coincidentally named Ashley also...Take care Conker....

Even though Cabby (Cabby is the black poodle in photo below) left the day care a few months ago, she was still missed by all of us. Her Mom told me today that Cabby was hit by a car on September 5th. She died from her injuries.  Rest in peace dear Cabby.

Sophia came to Little Dog Day Care for a short time. She was 14 years old, had pancreatitis but recovered. She was living with her Grammy and Grampy because her Dad passed away prematurely. Sophia also lived through a home fire with her Dad.

Sophia did some conditioning visits before she came for a full day of day care. On her first real day Sophia did very well.

She had a relapse of the pancreatitis and passed away.
